This project presented the challenges of a 6,000 square foot substandard size lot and the local FEMA Flood Zone. We had to design a 3 Bedroom 2 1/2 bath home in only 1,800 square feet. The large South facing side porch enhances the entry to the house and expands the living and dining rooms. The preverbal "sows ear into a silk purse" definitely applies to the success of this project as seen in the before (first image on left) and after photos.
